To say that Yahweh still speaks is to say to some that the canon of Scripture is open. What does Yahweh speaking today have to do with the Books of the Bible? Nothing, for even still yet to come, are major prophets declaring the will of Yahweh, as mentioned in Revelation, the written actions still yet to manifest in the natural. For Yahweh to no longer speak or yield prophets would make the Book of Revelation a false story. But we know that all Scripture is God-breathed. Yahweh had it written out, but the written Word still must come forward. Yahweh continues to speak. He may give periods of silence, yet He can speak whenever a course correction is needed. And for Scripture to remain active, the Word itself must be pushed by our Chief Prophet, Yahweh, in an active placement as Prophet, fully using the prophet traits.
